The main parade will assemble in The Square and leave at 1.15 prompt proceeding via Third Street, Lingerwood Road
and Main Street to Newtongrange Public Park. Accompanied by the following bands.
Newtongrange Silver Band, The Massed Pipes and Drums & Newtongrange Pipe Band
The Crowning Ceremony will take place at 1.45pm
accompanied by Newtongrange Silver Band.

Park Entertainment

Newtongrange Children’s Gala Committee will be selling wristbands on the day of the Gala from the
Tea-Tent. All attractions included will have a sign at the entrance to indicate that it is included in this offer,
any attraction without a sign will not be included in the offer.

Please do not ask at other attractions for free entry.
These wristbands will entitle the wearer to gain access to
the following attractions.

The wristbands will cost £5:00. & include
Quad Bikes
Water Walkers
Pony Rides
Toddler Adventure Centre
Face Painters x3
Assault Course
The Gala Committee hope this will ease some of the costs involved in the Gala Celebrations.
We hope to increase these attractions in future years if this proves to be popular.

Gala Bags

Under 5’s tickets will be issued on Sunday June 5th at
The Fancy Dress Parade judging arena in
Newtongrange Park between 2.00pm & 3.00pm.
Please note this is the only time these tickets will be available.

Gala Bags can be collected from the refreshment tent
next to the main arena between 2.30 & 3.30
