1989. Nice weather, no problems, everything went smoothly.
3. Have you any funny stories to tell about your time on the 'Gala Committee' i.e. fund-raising etc?

4. Have there been any times when you have wanted to relinquish your position on the Gala Committee?
Yes, this year, as we were moving into a rundown shack with a baby on the way and no time to attend meetings etc. !
5 .Who, would you say, has done more to keep the Galas going and why?
Janette, obviously.
6. What makes a good Committee Member?
Daft, committed, game for a laugh, hates children! ! !
